Oh well, thank you anyway! Any ideas of what I should do now? Is it a case of getting my car to the main dealer?

Yes... if it's the original radio fitted in the car, a Fiat dealer will be able to get the code from your registration number. They will need some form of identification and proof of ownership of the car.
.

I have just bought a Multipla to replace a written off one but the code Fiat provided the previous owner doesn't work, it is not the origional code but a piece of paper with all the codes on. The Fiat dealer has advised that the radio could have been replaced but there is no way for them to test the codes for the radio or key.

The details of the radio are below I will follow your link to donate to the forum if it need to be a larger donation please let me know.

815 BP5318 6 4153069
CD/SB03
7 645 318 616 E1 02 2329
70570012142 CD/SB03

Those are all the numbers I can find on the stickers.

Hi There, I've just bought a 2004 Punto with the standard blaupunkt cd player in it but no radio code was provided. I don't know why the radio went off I drove it home working fine and when I turned the ignition off then went back out in the car later in the day it displayed code on the display :( the serial number on the stereo is 7642375318 I've read previous posts and 'm happy to make a donation to the forum, I already tried one website which charged me £8 for my troubles but the code they provided didn't work :(

The number you've posted is not the serial number. The serial number will be stamped into the side of the radio and will be in this format BPXXXXXXXXXXXX Post all the other numbers from the stereo too.

Hi,

A week ago my 2009 Fiat Bravo 1.6 Multijet, started showing a "airbag problem" warning.
The car got a new body computer a new control unit, and other parts related to the airbags, in a total of 1200€.
When i got it back from the Fiat dealer, the radio started asking me the "M-code", i tried a 4 digit code i had but it didn´t work.

Now the Fiat dealer is asking me for 80€ to give me the code, its crazy!!

Could some one help me?

My radio is a Visteon:
- Serial No: M003783
- Model: OB
- Visteon part No: VP7FCF-18C815-AC
- Fiat part No: 735451941

Thanks

Post the 4 digit code you already have, I'll check if it's the same one I have.
