Poondash ice build (long term)

Basically im bulding over a good few months due to flow of pennys a small but decent sub box, amp and hu, so im kinda doing a beau style thread,

i could easly go and buy a already made up box but i dont wanna.

first off i starting with the cheaper stuff so im looking at a nice blue carpetted box same colour as the my car but first questions are:-

do i go for the double or single box and do i go for 10" or 12", which is the overall most common?

IMO 12" would be the best general purpose sub gives a good response to nearly all types of music.

My advice is spend as much as you can on the head unit and front speakers, they play the most important role in SQ.

Then a nice amp and a single 10" will be fine. Of course, the quality of each component depends on the overall sound.
