Punto - ICE revamp

Hi, my bro has just had a load of new ICE fitted into his punto active sport. This included 2x10" Kenwood subs and a 800w amp. It sounds very nice, but at higher volumes the other speakers (std ones) distort. The headunit is rated at 4x50w, what speakers would be best to put in the back and front of the car - we're not even sure what size they currently are.

Thanks!

Cinq Sporting - and yes, its broom yellow!

not sure what sizes fit in a punto, stick up a post in the punt section linking to this thread and you might get some answers...

For the front speakers (in dash) i also found the standard jobs distorted (max power handling a piffling 35w) but because of the small size it was a bugger to find any that would fit, but i found out t5hat pioneer do some custom fit jobs designed specifically for the punto (same shape, contours, screw holes in the same shape etc), take a look http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_...nomy_id=25-132, they give a much crisper clearer sound (both mid and treble) and they sound much better at higher volumes (50 w max power)! Got mine form motorworld, they ordered them specially, cost £34.99!, for the back its up to you but i would make a stealth shelf and fit some 6x 9z in it, are much better quality, have a higher power handling and motorworld have got JBL 1z on sale at the mo : -http://www.motor-world.co.uk/kroozin/clearance.php (no i dont work there i just use them a lot;)).
