recomendations an a lil help!

my gfs sei sport had a poo hu in it i took it out an it was hard wired into the car some one told me to cut the wire an use terminal blocks to add on to the wires to an iso cable then plug it into the bk of the hu wich i have an i think the hu is useless the screen wont show,

+ the auto electricion said not to use the terminals cause its reduces power?

so any way im thinking of buying her a new hu unit for her car, ive seen a kenwood one on the main page of halfords site for 80 pound,

does any 1 know of any other ones i might be missing out that could be betta for about the same price? cheers people

Re: recomendations an a lil help!

Depends what you want, loads of models out there in the price range.
A few brands to look at;
Sony
Kenwood
MutantX
JVC
Alpine
Panasonic
Ministry of sound
Goodmans
(just a few brands with head-units)

JVC, Blaupunkt, Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine are the brands to look out for in the sub 100 bracket IMO.
