hu for seicento

hi im on this for my girl friend she doesnt really have much time on her hands, a relitive got a friend of his to install a hu in her car which he has an im no expert but to me it looks dodgy! the hu has like fake buttons on it! there there for no reason but to look good it, an it looks cheap! i had a look at it an pulled the hu slightly an it wasnt even cliped itno place??

i have a spare hu an want to install it in her car i had a look at the back of her hu an there is wires going into the back of it, it has no adaptor. (its a sony explod)

mine has the plug for an adaptor, but i dnt have an adaptor, i need to buy one but when i plug it into the bk of my hu where do i connect the wires to??

i think i know wat u mean, want me to translate custard? lol

right probably the way the cables are put into the adaptor is the same way that they are plugged into thehu atm. so take one out and add it to the pin on the adaptor and so on and it should work otherwise use a diagram or wait for one of the ICE people to come along lol.

Found that a tad hard to understand, but if I'm right, there should either be a plug that has been cut off, or the HU needs to be hardwired into the car.

i think her hu in the car now is hardwired into her car i cant see an adaptor, does that mean i just cut the wires of and connect them to an adaptor??? cheers peeps

i woulds wire in an ISO connector to the HU so your not cutting looms again

ISO - ISO connector/adapter. It converts any cars stereo wiring to an ISO configuration. Most aftermarket HUs have an ISO connection

If its hardwired, a universal one will do, and you'll have to cut and join the wires to fit it.
