the standard fiat sub is soooo easy to conect in fact you dont have to do anything lol.

basically the fiat sub recieves power from the auto antenna wire that comes from fiat stereo pin 3 as i said in your other thread.

providing the location of the auto antenna pin is same on your new steree it will just work. oh and providing you havent moved the yellow wire like you said in other post.

when you say the wires are in a block if you mean that multi-colored block reg green yellow i think. then you do not need to connect any of them wires up to your new steroe. that block is there so that the on boacrd computer can check if you have inputted the stereo code into teh radio. so if you have taken the fiat radio out you do not need them wires just leave the block lose i did.

Ah brillo, will have to sit by it tomorrow and see if it is on (never really notcied tbh). To fit a new one would i just steal the wires from the fiat one?

Thanks for your help, ill let you know tomorrow if both things work.

Edit: yeah i did mean that multi coloured block.

well like i said the auto antena prvides it with power but i belive the actual signal for making teh sond comes from the normal speaker outs on back of the radio these pass through a few blocks on teh wiring diagram i am looking at so i assume some thing in there sorts out the low signals for the sub and then passes them down a seperate wire to the back along with the other wires for the rear speakers.
