| power caps? I'm a newbie to ice and i was just wondering what they were power caps and capsitors were.

| ow! pinched my eyeball! | not sure but i think they are a store of power so your amp always has a constant and level source of power so you dont get power drops/spikes:I The Fiat Cinquecento Fun While It Runs

| They work like an emergency supply for your battery. When your amps demand more power (like when the bass drops really low and loud) the cap will add the power to the main supply, ensuring the power to the amp is clean and constant. I wouldnt really bother with them though, they dont do that much. The only real way of having bucket loads of reserve power is with another battery, like a Stinger or Optima.
