Has anybody got / seen / heard nething gud about the rockford fosgate head unit range?

im thinking bout gettin one to replace my pionner 4500R..

i been looking all ova net and cant find ne reviews newere. and the rockford site is C**P!.

Not heard much about them to be honest...possibly a bad thing?

Try Pioneer DEH 77MP (I think?) One of the best out at the moment for sensible money.

Nah i aint having pioneer again, i think there head units are ace and have loadsa usefull settings but i had so many problems with mine now
is gettin sent back for the 3rd time nxt week! the screens cant be very durable in them casue thats wat keeps going wrong with mine.

Im lookin at probs around £250 max. quite like the look of the VDO-Dayton CD4203. my pioneer head unit is still under warrenty so il be sending it to get fixed again.

so anybody interested in buying a pioneer deh4500R let me know! lol. think its a 12 month warrenty so will run out in feb.

alpine has a nice hu for just under £250, tis what i want to get :p

I've been using Rockford Fosgate product for quite a long time, all the product never disappoint me, even the head unit always sounds good, it more to semi-high end product. Far much much better than Pioneer.
I found that, Alpine head unit can produce the best sound, but lens not lasting, especially with CDR quality cd.
For Clarion, Sounds good, so so lasting and much affortable.
Rockford Fosgate, sounds good but outlook is bad and it's branded stuff, of course expensive.
As a opinion, always go for better one, because everyday u have to listen to it; if u got the lousy HU and produce poor sound, that's means u have to SUFFER everyday.
