cinq door speakers??

did any of the cinq models come with standard door speakers?? is it worth gettin the pods and wiring them up or is it just a wase of time, its just that im worried that the standard dash speakers will be drowned out by my 12" sub i already have as its pretty loud when wired up to my alpine head unit![}:)] was thinking about tryin to get some 4x9's for the parcel shelf but again worried that they will sound rubbish with the sub also been told that they will damageB) the sub, what systems is everyone else runnin in the cinqs[?] i surly cant be the first person to have this problem

if there's room between the arch and wheel its not low enough

I got some really crappy Kenwood ones floating about somewhere to fit the front. I put them in but it was an awful 'tinny' sound, didnt go with my 6x9s so i took them out again.

hi,

Try upgrading the dash speakers and then instead of puttin 6x9's in the parcel shelf (which will make the sound flat with a 12" sub in the boot) re-make your rear door cards in 6mm MDF and mount them in there. I've done it and the sound is so much better than when they were in the shelf.
Will post pics later. I'm just going outside on a bit of a photo spree:D

Jimcento;)

Am i the only person to get my cinq airborn and sideways????

in my parcel standard parcel shelf i am running a pair of 6x9s and a pair of 13cm speakers both pioneers, in the back inside quarter pannel iv installed a piar of component speakers (jbl) 13cm with the tweeters in the front in front of the sunroof and i have also replaced the standard dash speakers for some 70watt rms pioneers. I also have two 10" jbl subs in the boot with a custom install and all the speakers are amped up hence i am running three amps! the speakers sound awesome as long as the subs arent facing upwards towards the speaker on the parcel shelf

Im running some 10cm coaxials which have been high-pass filtered at the front off the head unit, a pair of 200W 6 x 9's off the head unit under a stealth shelf, and a 600W sub and amp in the boot, mounted over the wheelarches, stealthbox stylee!

Arse

Ill think of something witty....just wait and see............wait I might not.

I will have my components in by xmas day! Yay! Fitted my new amp last night, didnt realise how much of a hassle fitting a second amp would be. Took 3 hours in the end but that included trimming the boot and spendong an hour re-doing the ground after I had inteference :(

Had to buy a bass blocker as the cheapass SPLX amp didnt have HPF in the end! I was quite surprised actually at the amp in the end, I was expecting a bit of a dull sound but with a pair of home hi-fi speakers hooked up it sounded surprisingly good. I'll just have to wait until xmas day to get the Fusions in! Cant wait! :)
