| Boot build I have got a mark 1 fiat punto and in my boot is my sub and amp on a plank of wood, and the 6" by 9"'s are on the parcel shelf. Fairly boring and common. I am looking to put my 6" by 9"'s in my boot along with my sub and amp, and incorporate it all so it looks 'cool'. Has anyone else done this or have any pictures of their own boot builds? Cheers

| Veracocha | Re: Boot build Good luck with your build. Would go against having 6 x 9's in the rear with a sub but it's a personal thing. I have completed a build in my Stilo based on keeping everything simple.i.e, that can be removed easily and put into another car. Here's pics of mine but member 1.8stilo has a lovely f/g build which you can see in the gallery. http://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/sho...11&ppuser=7003 http://www.bozzy.f2s.com/ let us know how you get on.

| Re: Boot build Nice, thats something i would like to have in my boot, except only the one sub and amp, lol. WHy would you advise against the 6" by 9"'s in the boot with the sub?

However too much and they sound crap. (I lost all bass when I took my seats down to transport some air cylinders - as the resonant volume of air had become too large to have an effect!) Put the 6*9's in the shelf!

| Ah. Not good... | Re: Boot build 6x9s are bad ![]() The 6x9s and the sub will essentially cancel each other out - 2 different ways to get the same thing, but putting the two together doesn't work IMO. Components up front, sub in the back, all amped is the best combo IMO | ||

But theres always the air being moved forward and outwards by the front face of the cone....

It was purely the air being moved by the front that I was referring too as I had no idea what sub he intends to run. Lose the 6 x 9's altogether.
