HI guys got myself a new radio sat nav dvd player head unit from ebay. fitted it in and its working fab how ever as soon as the car moved I loose the radio. I follower the instructions that say the ariel must be on the glass and the copper bit on metal post under the side trim. but I don't have a removable panel there just an air bag. see picture for what I meen. is there an adapter or something I can use to connect my roof ariel to the dab box. I go on long trips with the kids and need radio on. the mp3 and dvd cds work fine but wanted to get the dab going. get full bars on the drive

Please help if you know what I need to do thanks

Hey there,

The aerial has to be grounded. The copper part must touch the frame of the car somewhere, ideally bare metal.

You should be able to lever the A pillar cover off without the airbag going off they arent that delicate.

I would put the aerial as high up the glass as you can. This keeps it away from any electrical noise from the dash and engine etc.

If the white loop part is stuck down now, its going to be hard to move it. But it definitely needs grounding.
