Hi folks, just bought a 2009 Fiorino and wanted to upgrade the head unit as the original wasnt working. Also the ciggy lighter needed replacing as it was filthy and had popped the fuse.

Now the head unit only comes on when i connect yellow and read together load side and put to the incoming red. I get 12v at both red and yellow,wether or not the key is in the ignition.

The cables in the lighter are blue and brown, brown being ground,blue 12v,again on all the time even with engine off.

any suggestions on what i need to do to resolve this?thanks in advance!
