Hi, I have replaced the old tape set with a OEM CD set in my 03 Ugly Bug. All is well except the volume preset is very low, can someone suggest how I adjust it so it is loud enough automatically at switch on, please?

No techies out there to help this deaf ole git.
Surely it 's possible to preset the sound - or increase it anyway.
Come on fella's, give the def ole git a hand.

By the way, this is a propa Multipla unit, just plays cd's instead of tapes

Have you looked in the manual?
The original Panda unit has a low preset volume, very annoying. I've searched the manual, and all the menus I can find in the unit, but can't find any way to increase the preset. If the Multi one is a Blaupunkt like the Panda, you're probably stuck with turning it on, then winding it up every time.
