I've just bought an 07 Grande Punto, and I would like to replace the aftermarket stereo with an original Fiat unit, as I want the car to be as original as possible.

There are quite a few for sale on Ebay, but I dont know how to be sure that the facia colour is the same as in the car - a lot of them appear to be slightly different colour.

Is there a way of telling which type / model number goes with which car, based on year / chassis number etc?

Also, my car does not have the steering wheel controls, but it looks like they may have been replaced by blanking plates on the wheel when the aftermarket unit was installled. Were the steering wheel controls standard on the original car?
