Hello i wanna amp my 480w vibe 6x9s and my and 210w door speaker, what watt amp would be best?

Ignore those wattage numbers they are just the peak figures Vibe use them to make their speakers sound bigger and beefier than they really are.

Look for the RMS figure for the individual speakers, for instance my Pioneer 6.5" Components are labelled up as 350watts but they are really only 60w RMS speakers.

As for amp they say its better to have a more powerful amp for the speakers and then turn it down rather than have a weaker amp turned up. The reason is because if you have a weak amp cranked up it will struggle and distort and distortion kills speakers.

I am going to upgrade my amp soon but I am on a very limited budget but from my research I have chosen a Pioneer GM-D8604, which is a 4x100w class D full range amp which has more than enough power for my needs and is about £130, it gets very good reviews from looking at the various retailers that sell it, and as its class D it shouldn't tax the power system of the car as much as a similar powered class AB.

Personally I use 2x JBL Class A/B amps and they are really good!

You should also consider...
JL Audio
Kicker
Polk Audio
Pioneer
Alpine

Wouldn't recommend anything else.

If u are looking to upgrade door speakers i wud look at focal they're use a crossover system which slot of other companies are starting with no but focal are ahead of the game and byfar the best atm and they dont need and amp to just use orignal speaker wires
