Hello, I have been having some issues with installing a double din head unit into my 2010 mk2 Doblo so I'd like to post these issues see if anyone has any advice, or can use this experience to help themselves.

I bought a Sony WX-90GT BT double din head unit along with a CT23FT15 double din fascia adapter plate, and since attepting to fit the thing have had nothing but headache. The first problem, as with some other fiats, is that there is no switched live feed coming into the headunit so it requires both the sony iso permanent and switched live connected, though the h/u will need manually switching on and off May just take a the switched live from the cigarette lighter tbh.

However this is nothing compared to fitting the thing, if you intend to do this please don't fear cutting bits out your oem fascia and dashboard, as there are several parts which need to be cut off in order to fit a double din unit. I shall detail with pictures tomorrow when fitted.

Also come to realise that the whole lot including the h/u need fitting in a very specific order otherwise clips will break and it will require super-gluing back together (loctite gel works well I find) :bang:

So my suggestion would be to stick with something single din and use existing fascia of the cheaper OEM h/u, or be brave/stupid like me !
