| amp cooling Right, want to mount a fan to help in the cooling process of my amp but don't know where to put the two wires to power it

a cleverer wat to do it is to put it on a constant live through a relay that is switched via the amps remote wire so its only on when the amp is on | |||

| oh me gums! | Re: amp cooling basically you connect the relay to your power source and then use the amp signal wire to 'switch' the relay. i'll try and dig up a diagram as it seems really complicated when put into words,and its really not | ||

| oh me gums! | Re: amp cooling ![]() so the remote lead could be your amp signal or ignition live depending on your preference and set up. the ground is straight to the body work and 12v can come of the battery. the 'connect to electronic component' goes to your fan's '+' feed. then you just add a ground connection to the fan(s) hope that helps. dont forget to put a fuse in the supply!!! | ||
