Re: Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

punto mk2.5 - same as mk2 , but would like to add

16.5cm standard fit in front, can squeeze 17cm but may need tweeking

17cm can easily be fitted with speaker pods, these also help with mounting depth issues http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/sho...4&product=1266

rear 10cm , but i had to screw my infinity kappa from undereath as they didnt fit in the recess

Re: Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

Multipla sizes:

Appear to be 6" in the front doors and 6x4 in the rear doors.

Thats the mk1. I haven't seen the mk2 so I don't know if it's any different.

Re: Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

Speakers in the rear doors are not 6x4 as I originally thought. They are something like 7x5. A size inbetween 6x4 and 6x9.

Not sure the exact size but I took my old ones into the local radio shop and they had some in stock which slipped straight in.

Uno 45 / Turbo

In each front door behind the door pockets there's 5.25inch dual cone speakers.

4 inch spaces in the back but not available from factory and no wiring for them either.

unsure of speakers in back, have never looked

possible location for rear speakers are parcel shelf and custom mdf rear quarts, although in drivers side rear quart size maybe restricted due too petrol filler neck being in the way - although 6x9's can squeeze in there but you will have to mark them up carefully before cutting
Never fitted any myself, but im pretty sure that seicentos only have 8cm speakers in the front, where the cinq had 10cm.

Re: Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

Old Panda:

Depending on model you can have 10cm in the front doors, 10cm in the rear side panels, or 10cm in plastic pods on the dash. Standard wiring only provides for 2 speakers, although i guess you could put some 6x9s in the parcel shelf if you really wanted to...

126 (why has nobody mentioned these before?!)

These have a single 6x4" speaker under the dash on the passenger side. Rock on!!!

Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

Hi all new to this please bear with me.

I have just got a Marea 100sx weekend 1.6 nice to drive.

But i would like to change the head unit to a Pioneer DEH-P70bt.

1. Do you think it would fit if i change the fascia.

2. Could somone tell me what size the speakers that are in the car as i would like to change them at the same time.

3. Any speaker you could recommend.

Many Thanks
Seme

Can order Sony ones from halfords for £40, might take a few days to arrive though. I expect you can get them from pretty much any ICE dealer.

Re: Speaker Sizes (DATA NEEDED)

You can get a speaker adapter for punto mk1's from car audio direct - this will allow you to fit 5" speakers to the rear instead of 4" - well worth it in my opinion. I've already ordered mine!
