It’s a 1.2 Fiat Punto Active 8V 54 plate.

Currently stock speakers in the car and a Goodmans GCE7101 CD player. Second hand car so this is how it was when it was purchased.

I’m looking at buying –

Alpine SXE-1725S (Front)

Alpine SXE-1025S (Rear)

Don’t really know a lot about this kind of stuff so it would be cool if you guys pointed out if the sizes were wrong ect.

Also put a bid on Ebay to get a Sony CDX-GT540UI stereo! Friend had one in an old rusty fiesta and it was probably worth more than the car. Sounded was amazing! Will it fit in my car? I’m more worried about this fitting than the speakers cause you can’t read up much on what will fit into certain cars.

Head units come in 2 sizes, DIN (normal everyday size) and Double-Din (larger size, normally with built in touch screen, dvd screen etc....)

Both fit the Grande but your gonna want a DIN sized one realistically. So to answer your question, yes the HU will fit.

Only thing you may need is a wiring adaptor, but it should come with one.

As the car already has an aftermarket unit in it it should already have the fascia adaptor so your already sorted there

Went to a local place called MDR and they quoted me £100 for fitting. I refuse to even consider paying that, talk about daylight robbery!
Spent the afternoon fitting it all myself and got a lot of self satisfaction.I’ve never done anything like that before but the Fiat Forum helped a lot.
I’d just to thank everyone that posts here on the forum because it is a valuable tool.

If it was £100 for firing the speakers as well then it's not too bad. They would probably make some mdf baffles which would easily be worth the extra outlay.
