No sound from new amp?....Help!

Hey folks,

just installed new amp into my punto mk2, only draw back is theres no sound coming out of speakers :bang: . speakers are workin fine cos tested them in mates car. so i'm not sure if i've put the remote lead in the correct place , theres no remote wire coming out of head unit so i attached it to my neons(they got switch on them).

can any 1 help please?!!

Is the amp powering up at all?

Your remote should ideally come from Head unit as its a swtich live, try using a live from ignition

there is a remote wire comming out of teh head unit. well there is on my mk2 sporting i dont know what stereo you are running but on my car the orginal stereo had a elec arial pin this is the wire used to turned the fiat factory sub on and off that was in the boot. bottom iso connector 1 up 1 left of the fat black wire in the bottom corner
