Punto Mk2 ELX Front Speakers

hey there guys and gals,

I have a Mk2 Punto ELX, not sure if it is that different to normal Mk2's, but my problem is the fact I want to whack in some better components in the front doors.

Problem: does anyone know ther the crossovers are? as i have tweeters in the doors too. I'll mount the new crossovers obviously where the old ones are, i have ideas both in the centre console, and the door, but knowin first would help.

Plus i wanted to put new speaker cable in.. but it looks like i cant because there is a crazy clip that connects to the door, rather than just a bunch of insulated cable, which sucks cos i am plannin on having the new clear blaupunkt, with optional backlight illumination kit and need some power to light it

Anyone who has done any front speaker moddin on a mk2 punto who can help? any help appreciated

Also, RE: the illumination for the speakers.... you can ALWAYS find a way to get more cable running into the doors. Its just a matter of where there's a will, there's a way.
