Hi,I recently installed an after market Sony head unit into my Stilo,the problem I have is when you switch the unit on without the ignition on it works fine but as soon as the ignition is on I get a Loose connection warning on the dash,my Dash lights go off,I lose all gauges and several warnig lights come on.

The unit will go on standby and not give the Loose connection warning but as soon as the unit is switched on fully the warning comes.........Help!!!!!

have u checked the wires behind the head unit for splits or
naked wire. could be shorting out on the cage.

I tried that but all seems fine. I've tried wiring the HU bypassing the connecter block directly to the cars wires because the connecter didnt seem to click in too well but now got no power at all to the unit.
