i have made line in jack from inside the stilo original CD Visteon Head Unit

But if you want to do this you have to know how to make solder to little

pins

first take out head unit then cd player and you will see lout-rout and ground (they are very little) on the board under the connector of cd player

then make 3 solders to them then join them with a stereo cable to the 3,5 mm stereo jack that you opened in front of head unit

i use 1 m two sided stereo cable and 3,5 mm jack

it works when u play audio cd from head unit. if u connect mp3 player and turn it on it cuts cd audio
(my car is 2005 dynamic and head unit without hifi model and part no can be seen on pics)

here some pics

Thank you too.. of course that can be applied to other units but one of my friend tried it stilo hu with hifi he couldnt find any writings on the cd player board thats why i put the pics about model no and serial no for the hu

Should some CD be in unit all time while music play from mp3 player? If yes, how signals from CD and mp3 player don't mixed?

it mixes but u hear background audio music a little, especially when u go to next song from player. But i made a audio cd with no sound with a program (fruity loops) now there is no background sound..

It's not best solution. CD works all time you listen MP3 player. Is it posible to make aux in line on CD changer jack? I saw on the net that someones try that and it is not problem to connect L, R and ground line, problem is to simulate signal that CD changer sends to other pins.

Can you please tell us, how you know which 3 cable was right one?
Thanks in advance!

SNRYSL could you tell me where did you conected cable?
