hi guys and gals.

im wanting to put a subwoofer in my punto i know i need an adapter for the back of the head unit because i want to keep the steering wheel controls. my question is will fitting an aftermarket subwoofer invalidate my warranty??

thanks alot

andy

Thats what i was told on my car anything i change will not be covered under warrenty e.g. if you change your head unit all the audio system and assocated electronics will not be covered but if you blow a head gasket then that will because you have left that standard.
If you are worryed just weight until you are in the final year of warrenty then start modifying it, thats what i did with my previous car.

Hey Andy

do you know what adaptor it is for the back of the headunit?
i'm not very good with the I.C.E side of my car

cheers

Rob

why would you worry about the warranty on the stock sound system. its crap and can be replaced for pennies. a few hundred £ gets you mustard sounds.......

hey rob
i understand its a rca adapter that gives you the red and white connectors.

thanks for all the advice guys looks like i shall get me a sub fitted.
