Newb here, just wondering if anyone has a list of the error messages that the Standard fit Grundig AD185H2 head unit in a Marea displays? If not, anyone know what "SURFACE" means when trying to play a CD from the autochanger?

The manual cleverly refers you to a paragraph called "The Cd does not play" that doesn't exist in the manual!

Does it mean clean the 'surface' of the CD??? Just a guess

i thought it would be something to do with the CD needing cleaning, but it aint! It's only started giving the message this week on "backup" copied cd-r's. Its always played them fine in the past.

have you tried it with the origianl CDs, cuz not all players like CD-Rs?

Yeah plays the originals fine, but up until this week it played the cd-rs fine too.

Main topic of the thread was trying to find the list of error codes/messages that are displayed by the head unit ..... anyone help?
