and i was wondering is there anyway i can link up a video ipod to it so it plays videos from the ipod onto the screen?

looks like you can do it through the usb. what do you all think?

Ask seller. Neways why you want to play video when driving

It says no ipod function

So how are you planning to use an ipod with it, and as above why would you want to play video off your ipod whilst driving?

Doubt it can do it thru USB. You can get a video out lead very cheaply from ebay though, this will offer you no control of the ipod through the screen, but the output will be displayed.

As for watching it whilst driving, it might be for a passenger. I used to have Video CD's full of music videos to play on the old alpine setup I had. It was great having the music on and the video to go with it.

Got it in yet? If you have then fair play as the mk2 punto is notorious for having hardly any room behind the HU and that unit has loads of output wires.

As for playin video, as said above, just stick it all on something like an 8GB memory stick or get an AV cable for your iPod but you will have to control what you are watching from your ipod, not your HU.
