Stilo: speaker replacement

Stilo: speaker replacement

My Clarion speakers came today. \o/ :D woohoo! (Especially since they emailed me on Monday to say they were out of stock and wouldn't be arriving on Tuesday, as ordered.)

I will have to wait for the missus to get home from work at 2100 before I can fit them though. :(

(I'll post some pictures of the rear speaker access for those considering an upgrade.)

I faxed my order for the badgeless grille just now aswell. My (German) friend didn't do it for me and I couldn't wait. :I So we'll see how long that takes.

I mustn't buy anything else this month, i r skint. :( But next month...[}:)] Sub perhaps? ;)

Did you buy the subs on-line by any chance? Got a link?

OMG

I was thinking maybe £200ish on an amp and £150ish on a sub. (Cheaper the better tbh.) But I also need to consider the enclosure.

It looks like a custom job from Auto Acoustics could be £150ish; however, I was looking at my boot space the other day and it is pretty much square. So a normal (preferably not too large) enclosure may be a better and cheaper idea.

Thats plenty, you'll get some good quality gear with that budget, though don't forget your going to need a wiring kit :D
Just try to find a sub and amp that are well matched.
