Eh? But you don't even know what the big 3 is?!?!?!!

Only kidding :)

Ahhh i think they were waiting until i found out now i know what it is i can be officially knowledgeable LOL.

And thank you everybody. I would really like to get some good conversations going but it seems that most people buy a fiat for practical reasons and dont want to fill there boot with “Boom Boom”. Any body who follows this trend will feel my wrath. Ok joking aside anybody who uses this section please bare with me i am a Noob to all this.

Bare or bear Stu? :D

I think some useful stickies are needed (unless they are already there)>..

On routing power cables, working out cable thickness needs, grommeting, fuse positioning, working out RMS power and using Ohms law that kind of stuff.

I'm not a Bob the Bootbuilder tho....

it goes straight over my head sometimes:p Ill ask someone to explain anything i dont know in future(y)

Ok that's noted fuses should always be less than 27" from the battery as im lead to believe.
I cannot thin of a reason why you would want to work out RMS as it should always be stated but i will do some research.
A sticky on Ohms would be a great place to start as it is a very important factor in the planning of an Install(y)

Congratulations Stu :)

Put the fuse as close to the battery as possible hence reducing the length of unprotected power cable.

If the RMS wattages aren't stated then generally I would avoid it. You would also need to know the efficiency of the piece of equipment you're looking at.

There might be a little something on resistances in the Guides already. Probably the best thing to put up there would be the overall loads possible when wiring subs together (especially multiple subs/ DVC subs).

I think that there is a hell of a lot of circumstantial properties that need to also be considered when working out RMS which is why certain companies (cough theloudest.com) can make silly RMS quotes.

I was thinking about doing a bit more comprehensive guide to ohms as a lot of the Diagrams on the internet are just plain confusing i know that they are probably drawn to some sort of electrical diagram standard but not everybody will understand that.

well done dude, hopefully this section will start buzzin again :)
as for rms figures etc, i dont think a sticky would b appropriate, neither would cable routing as its car specific. on on capacitors maybe? :D lol oj!
good luck
