| wiring problem subs to amp i have two pionner 1200w champion series subs in separate boxes with a 3000w loudest amp my amp looks like this - - + + i have wired atm the negatives from each sub to the two negatives on the amp and the two positives from each sub to the two positives on the amp is this correct please help me sorry dnt know how to up load a diagram of what i have done

| Re: wiring problem subs to amp From what I've seen on most amps if you have two subs then you should wire it like so................ + SUB 2 + SUB 1 - SUB 1 - SUB 2 (Imagine that turned on it's side to look like your little diagram) Every amp I've ever used were wired like so but yoursmay be different.

| More ICE Please | Re: wiring problem subs to amp Well aparently it is dual 2ohm and i believe that the amp claims to be stable at 1 if you wanted to wire it like that but then you run the risk of overpowering them but do we believe the loudest's RMS Claims ![]() | ||

| Re: wiring problem subs to amp Not really!!! Anyways.... If they are dual 2 ohm that means either 2 x 4ohms or 2 x 1ohm, so either way can show the amp 2ohms. Just don't wire them so they show 0.5ohm or chances are the amp will go into protection mode or up in flames!
