Punto MK2 Setup

First thread in I.C.E section for me (i think)

right-e-o

i have a punto mk2 and this is my setup....

pioneer head unit.

front vibe speakers with tweeters. (in doors)

rear 6x9's (vibe) (in parcel shlf)

mutant sub and amp (in boot)

and ill be honest it sounds crap

i know people will say having 6x9s in parcel shelf will make it sound crap!

any ideas how i can make my setup better. i may need to buy new front speakers as my current oens are poo

explain?

its mainly the sound quality fron the front that is crap.

also the sub/amp cuts out occasionally as its too loud but not loud enough for me

Re: Punto MK2 Setup

Need a budget!

This is my system, and it sounds great.

MB Quart RUA-216 (fit in stock locations)

JBL 75.4

JBL 1201.1

RE XXX V3 D4

Epicenter

The 75.4 is running the Mb Quarts actively, the XXX is in a 2.5 cu.ft box tuned to 33hz. I'm going to get some pictures when it's all trimmed.

Oh come on. You dont need to be caUtious. Anything I sell is kosher. I would never do something like that, purely because I would want to kill someone if they did it to me

If I was you I'd snap my arm off. BARGAIN

Re: Punto MK2 Setup

I was going to just get a sub, amp and headunit all for about £500 max. Ended up spending well over a grand.

You mean these?

http://shop.audioimages.co.uk/alpine...ers-p-627.html

Bargain?

£25 is going to get you nowhere, to get any sort of decent quality out of your front end your going to need to amp the components. If I was you I'd go back to standard.
