| iPod link not working on Stilo Can anyone help please? I have a 2003 Stilo with the standard CD/Radio. Just been to Halfords to have an iPod jack fitted. This was to be a simple operation as all Stilo radios have (allegedly) the option to have a CDC fitted and the iPod would utilise this via a Denzies Gateway. Halfords had the car all afternoon. When I came to collect it I found that the newly fitted cable charges the iPod, but that the radio does not recognise it when I press SRC. Very rude and unhelpful salesman was no use at all. Fitting tech had gone home. Has anyone maybe seen this before? Do I need to do anything to the radio maybe? Any helpful comments will be appreciated! many thanks sue | |||

| *custom name* | Re: iPod link not working on Stilo have you got the gateways that communicate through the computer and appear on the screen? i havent seen these being a success on stilo, they done seem to communicate with the ecu, maybe something to do with the CAN system. good thing is that since halfords did it you are obliged to get a refund or fixed, if they dont oblige throw a fuss and they will have to help you. i would go for the ice-link by dension, looks the same but works through a direct connection into the cars radio so it will defnitly work
