Posts: 1,532 Thanks: 90 Trader Rating: 0 Drives: | Hi all, I'm currently running a JVC KD-G111 unit in a Mk1 Punto until I get around to updating the head unit, anyway I have 2 Questions: 1) The CD player skips randomly, and it doesn't appear to be the disc as it skips in different places after each pass. Could this to be with temperature? If that's the likely solution then I could try mounting some PC fans to draw the air down and off the unit (the detachable front gets hot regardless of the weather, day or night). 2) on the back of this head unit there is the standard audio connector, fuse, antenna in and two connectors that appear to be Phono sockets (the plastic is red on one and yellow on the other if that helps?) and to be honest I don't know what they are and the manual mentions nothing obvious about them. Are these 'pre-outs' for a sub/amplifier or something? Thanks in advance
