Bearing in mine I have absolutely NO experience with audio installation, how much would I get with £150.. bearing inmind somebody may have to fit it too..!
you could get a cheap amp and a set of 6x9's for the parcel shelf...if you fade the music to the rear then the 6x9's would give you volume and quality and ur existing front comps would just be for sound staging...dead easy to fit...definately worth it.

I picked up an alpine amp for 100 and a set of pioneer 6x9's for 70 quid...but thts all brand new...ebay stuff and you could get it for like 75 quid...or use cheaper brands.

i hate 6x9's

pointless. better comps and decent sub/amp is MUCH better solution

i disagree...my 6x9's do the job perfectly 'cos i need all the room i can get in my boot and cba to remove a sub every time i need it...besides...less hassle than removing all the bloody trim!! I'm planning on installing some Bose comps anyway into the front doors...subs in the front doors along with mid and tweeters...will be awesome

Re: Improving ICE with £150..

i agree with grandej, 6x9s arent needed in a decent set up, they overthrow the front speakers so all the sound comes from the back, components or just leave the standerd speakers in and hook yourself up with a jbl amp & sub which can be found on ebay cheap, even new is pretty cheap, jbl are always good on a budget.

or if you buy a decent head unit you can always fade the music forward and balance it perfectly like I have

Re: Improving ICE with £150..

If you pop on eBay, do your research and look up amp model numbers on the web. Nothing saves money like buying an amp from a seller who's written less than thirty words about the product and scared everyone else off
