pioneer dvd/tv headunit help :( HELP HELP HELP!!!!

this is in my 200sx before i start lol. But, its just ICE help so asking everywhere!


basicly, i wired up my pioneer P6500DVD headunit on saturday, and it worked perfectly fine all day and sunday morning. then, i decided to add the tv tuner and disc changer. bare in mind i bought all this 2nd hand and it had been removed properly with everything labled etc, so its wired up correctly.

now, since i added the tv tuner and disc changer, i blew the fuse under the bonnet. so now thats changed, the changer works, the tv tuner works, the headunit works....but......

......it seems to be stuck on mute? tried all sorts!!

any ideas??????????????

i havent had that problem installing the pioneer units though i have done on quite a few other dvd players, my simple fix was cut the mute wire, it seemed to do the trick, just try that

also if you still have the remote go into the setup menu and see if the sound settings are corrent just incase

ahh yeah. ive posted on 3 forums and everyones said the same about the phone mute thing.

thing is, when i go into the menu on the tv, i cant accesss the "Audio" button, its greyed out if u know what i mean? would that deffo suggest ive wired in the phone mute thing?

make sure the 'tel' wire isnt earthing out on the back.
this will mute the audio as this is how it detects an incoming call

cheers, so basicly, everyone on here, sxoc.com and renault sports club have said its gonna be something to do with the phone mute :d
