hi all, my 2001 punto had a sony radio/cas in with a cd changer in the boot when i got it, but did come with the original radio/cas. the sony radio reception wasn't great and doesn't have rds, worst though the display was very dim and impossible to see at night, so a journey across country this week in the dark was a bit frustrating with the radio loosing its signal and me not being able to tune it in manually, the auto search was next to useless!
so today i have fitted the original blaupunkt radio back in, but of course the cd changer leads couldn't just be plugged in
i am gussing i would need one of those 'connects 2' type devices to get it to work, if there is one to do the job
the standard radio/cas will do for me as i'm not into subs/amps and the like, i just want something useable. i could always just get a new single slot cd/radio and do away with the changer but i do quite like the standard one
if only for the feature of increasing volume with speed, particularly useful in the
jtd 
the only issue i have is it seems to turn itself off after 20 mins use like my old marea one used to
is there any way to stop it doing that, other than leaving the ignition on, something which i don't want to do
