Fight vs Head unit. Head unit wins.

I have this head unit

When it was origionally fitted i didn't have an aux cable to plug into the back.
However now i do, but i can't get the bastard back out again!
help! It's a Mk 2b punto, if that helps, so i have the normal after market fascia on it.
Also, any tips for where to run the aux cable after?
