amp wireing

i have this amp http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Infinity-Refer...QQcmdZViewItem running off a 8 gauge cable would i be better off replacing the cable with 4 gauge, iirc the amp has two 80amp fuses

160A? Through 8awg? Are you mad?

That's 0awg territory.

Personally 80A would be the most I would put through a 5m run of 4awg.

i guess i should upgrade the wireing then

i have a 60amp fuse fitted at the batt and the distibution box at the moment

just checked the amp, the fuses are 30 not 80

was getting worried as i had trouble getting 8 gauge through the bulkhead and 0 gauge is alot thicker
