Rca Cables Mk2 Punto

Hiya I Was Looking At My Fiat Punto Mk2 Today And I Couldnt Find A Way To Get Behind The Head Unit So The Wires Are Hidden. Can Any1 Explain What They Did Or Have Any Ideas Thanks

Hi mate,

You need to remove the headunit to get behind it if that s what you mean?

Then, if you look towards the back, there is a hole of the left hand side, in which you can droip your RCA cables down, and then run them under the glovebox to the side, and then down the side of the car underneath the plastic trim, into the boot.

is it a standard headunit? dont think they have RCAs on them but if its aftermarket then do as A1ant said but try to get the wiring down into the corner away from the plastic trims, it can get pinched and short out.,

i can get my head unit out but i cant seem to find a hole to get the wires from the glovebox up behind the headunit any ideas?

u need a head unit removal tool. they sell em at halfords.

I did power down the left hand side (when sat in the drivers seat) as thats were the nearest grommit was. If you look towards the right hand side of where your radio goes there will be another hole, just drop your RCA's down there, a bit of fiddling and they should pop out near the pedals, then just under the carpet, door sills and tada
