Line Level speaker to RCA Adapter Help (With Pics)

I know my headunit at the min hasnt got any rca outputs and i didnt want to spend any cash on a new headunit so i got a line level converter. I just need help wiring it up becuase i dodnt want to pay anyone to fit it. Im pretty handy at wiring and got all the things ill need like different types of crimps etc. Just need a little help on where to put the wires.

On my wires coming from my headunit there are 4 wuth the same colours on them but one of them doesnt go to the iso connecter it just flops about behind it with a stick on it saying mute and thats the brown wire.
Ill get some pics of the wiring of my headunit tomorrow, its too dark at the min

no instructions with it? if not its gonna be trial and error i think.

btw, the mute wire from your HU is to mute the sound when a fone rings etc, so just ignore it.

sowhat do i connect the brown wire from the converter to then lol. ill investigate further tomorrow. ill have a look in the headunit book see if theres anything there i can use.

Ive just seen on the back of the converter that it says.

Function Wire colour
Right+ = Grey
Right- = Black
Left+ = Green
Left- = Brown

And in my book for the headunit it says

Function colour wire
Rear right+ purple
rear right - purple and black
front right + gray
front right - gray and black
front left + white
front left- white and black
rear left + green
rear left - green and black

HEADUNIT >>> CONVERTER
-------------------------------
Purple >>> Grey
Purple/Black >>> Black
Green >>> Green
Green/Black >>> Brown

so if i follow that my amp and sub should work a treat?
