| Ah. Not good... | Re: help... Actually, I would upgrade the HU first before the speakers. I would spend the money on just the front speakers and preferably an amp to go with them. How much do you have to spend? | ||

Components - the tweeter and mid are 2 separate parts 2, 3, 4, 5 way - essentially the number of 'speakers' mounted in a coaxial setup (although you can get 3 way components which consists of 3 speakers - mid bass, mid range and tweeter)

| Re: help... well, propbably around £150 -ish for an HU and then mayb £150-200 to for front n rears and parcel shelf 6x9 (saw a GP with em last nite) coz i was slightly worried about the metal bar running through but that can be overcome. is that a big enough budget?.. i dont want top of the range stuff but a happy medium ![]() also, if anyone can help how can i wire interior lights to the car battery ![]() thank u.

I would look at the front speakers only and spend somemoney on an amp, something like http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/rain...0ee6485f69d29e http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dls-...0ee6485f69d29e For an amp I would be looking at a JBL 75.2 or, as you're thinking of getting a sub later on, spend a little extra and get the 4 channel version, the 75.4 - 2 of the channels can be bridged to drive a sub. There's also the option of getting kit second hand too.

| Re: help...
Easiest way is to get a plug-in light powered off the socket for the cigarette lighter. If you put `cigarette lighter light' into Ebay you'll find a few. LED lights have the advantage in not using much power; less danger of draining the car's battery

| Re: help... aye, was thinking about doing that, (plugging in from the ciggy socket) but i dont want wires running all over the place.. .. im fussy like that. hahaaye, i think il just scan for HU, see what is out there at the moment and what has some good features but also good value for money. aye, think il just change the front speakers fairly soon... start with something easy
