phoenix gold bass cube

have any of u lot got one of these? what are they for? are they a worthy addition to an ice install? cheers guys

they control the bass frequency going in to the amp so basicly if you only have 2 preouts (front and rear)then even if you have your amp and head unit set too low frequency you will still get singing through the sub which you don't want so a bass cube cuts this out

Thats what Low Pass Filters are for, found on 99% of amps.

They are a line driver. Line Drivers process signal running through them to basically clean up the sound, lettting you manipulate it also to produce a better sound.
