That's crazy my mods all covered like for like too with Adrian flux with 3 yrs Ncb 2 claims parked on road £550. My map and mods didn't make a huge difference either shopping around is always best!

Not worth the risk though for what it costs especially if you have a huge crash. As the money would then be coming out your pocket for third parties.

The only time it would ever be brought to light would be in a multi million £ claim and or where people have died.

Quite often the car would be sent to a Police forensic lab where they often read the data from the car's computers. They can use the Airbag ECU to find out the speed at impact for example (and thus proove dangerous driving if you where speeding).

Yeah defo not going to risk it.

Adrian flux quoted me 2 grand. Clean licence standard car 3 years no claims no crashes. I'm guessing insurance has gone up in the last month or so

I think flux are awful, always been my most expensive everytime.

Me too, quoted me over £5k last year, and this year they just asked what my best price so far was (which I told them truthfully), and they just came back with: "Yeah we can't even come close to that, bye!"

I am definitely up for a red dot remap. running a tmc tuning box and everyone is saying a remap will be better! Let me know if it happens as im up for it!

Remaps are better but those TMC boxes (the newer dual channel kits) are very good and you'd only notice a marginal difference with a remap.

really?? I've heard mixed things about tuning boxes though saying they ruin your injectors over time?
