Just wondering if anyone wanted to jump in on this, im going to contact a few place within the next day or two. Just want to put this up and see if we get a good response. And a rough amount of names?

Thankssss guyss! (y)

I have emailed a load more places today, just waiting on some replies..

Todger i asked about the D2S projectors, and the angel eyes, he is gong to get back to me!

I will ask about the H4 Hids :)

ive had three sets of HID's in different cars... £210 4 years ago. £60 last year and £23 this year and they were all similar quality tbh the £23 ones are still going 10 months later no problems....

only thing with ebay is warrentys are a pita... ds2 + h4 adapters mean you can have hid's and not blind people.... their the way to go...

ill keep checking here for final price and let you know :)

I was under the impression for 2011 aftermarket HIDs without washers and self levelling were an instant MOT fail:confused:
Lol if they notice them :chin:
Id be interested in a set of these if they were cheap enough but probably wouldnt fit them until after march (MOT is due then lol)

lol..Do you normally settle discussions with a 'shut up'? ..Very mature of you anyhow!

Will insurance companies therefore accept after market HIDs? And before there is a response to 'shut up and don't tell them' it is this behaviour which drives the cost of the damn thing up! :bang:

shut up. who cares, just take em our before the mot...

If you fit HID's into standard headlights without the correct projects and modifications then yes, it is a fail

However if you correctly fit them into your headlight with projectors it's still a fail, but the insurance will accept it.

There is alot of work to correctly fit HID's, your glass needs to have all of the refractors removed and polished, the projectors need to be postioned correctly and lined up, and you will need to spray all of the unit black to mak the reflector foil useless. One done all of that you will have an insurance happy HID headlight, that is still an MOT fail :D.

Thanks
