Sound deadening Group Buy!!!!

Everybody please be aware that this is sound deadening not noise barrier. Its to stop the body panels resonating not outside noise getting in. There appears to be a lot of people geting this confused. I will see what i can do about geting a noise barrier group buy on the go.

Also 10 sheets of this in a punto would be ridiculous. As i said it is meant to add weight to panels each sheet weight 8kg lol.

Its the noise barrier im intrested in. Sick of road noise and tyre roar and general "fiatness". Aparantly even just doing doors makes a massive difference.

Well do it in stages Chris. Start by expanding foaming gaps and stuffing pillow cases with loft insulation (even pillow would do) and stuffing out the rear quarts dont do the doors i dont know if you have ever smelt wet insulation
Basically a lot of the cheaper things tend to work enough for the every day driver, if you see a load of old Camping mats in the charity shop then they will work as they are just a closed cell foam, perfect for reflecting unwanted external noise.

Anybody wanting this? The price has now gone up to £27 a sheet due to the $hit economy and weak pound against the Euro but its still a cracking deal

would 2 sheets be priced at £44 or does it not count towards the discount as its not 'more than 2 sheets' so it would have to be £60?

I believe that because of the euro its like 27 a sheet discounted and 33 normal price. You need to get 3 sheets for discount. Get an extra sheet for the boot if you have a sub. I need to order 7 at some point Thats 15 sheets in less than year

i've already deadened the boot slightly, but just the floor and filled the plastic boot liner with expanding foam.

i could do the side walls of the boot like you have done in the stilo. and use the left over to do both skins on the front doors.

so how much would 3 sheets be posted?



how is this stuff best applied, with a heat gun and rolled into place?

Some people use a roller but i could never got it to work. I just heat it up thoroughly with a heat gun and mould it in with my fingers. You will get a few blisters but it will be worth it.
