(G) grande punto upgrade to leather seats

Just wondered what the leather seats were like in the sporting in the showroom I went to none of the cars had the leather seats. Are they comfortable?

Oh yes, especially with the electric lumbar adjustment.

They were already in the car when i bought it and i wouldn't have considered it if buying new. If i had to spec my car new and know what i do now i would deffinatly get them. Plus you get the arm rest as standard

Easiest way of describing it...

Imagine you're sat in a car seat, the lumbar support moves the back pannel of the seat where your lower back rests in or out moving to the curviture of your back. Very comfortable
Only comes on the drivers seat though, not the passengers
The button is just under the armrest.

Those leather seats are really nice...!!!

I've the eleganza, and the leather seats are fantastic - very comfortable - also means the car retains it's new smell for longer, they are easier to clean and look, in my opinion, 10 times better than 'normal' seats. Only downside is on very cold mornings when wearing thin work shirt! cold!! The shock only lasts for 30 seconds though.

Now im the other way Pref material seats over full leather.

If they offered part leather than that would of been a winner for me. However its own choice at the end of the day!

The Leather is fantastic, its the smell every time you get in the car i love. I will treat mine with Gliptone Cleaner and conditioner.

part leather or alcantara would look even better.

I'm in the material brigade too, our Focus which we are trading week tomorrow for Eleganza has leather (front ones heated) and I have to say i find it a bad thing when first sitting in, the heaters take few mins to get up to temp and while this is happening there is a lot of oohing and aahing. I don't like the look of them when they get the lived in look either, got to admit it is a nice smell though. Personal preference though eh!

The leather seats one of the things I was most pleased about when I got the car. Never seen them before I bought it, but when i arrived was so pleased I'd chosen them. Really finish off the car great. Very comfortable, although several people have said they are very firm? Well firm but comfy I guess!

I like leather seats but I reckon they make the interior look a bit "gloomy" with all that black around. I suppose if I sat on them I'd change my mind though.
