just a quick question. Does any one know why after hitting 5000 miles on my pg the other day my mileometer is now flashing. Do i need a service or an oil change? or is it just a fan fair moment lol.

No its not due an oil change until 18,000 miles or 12months which ever happens first! . I had the flashing odometer and it was fixed by a 'Proxy Alignment' which basically means reset the car's computers .

millage display flashing

Some mornings when i get in my car the millage display flashed until i park up and use the car again.
This as only happened 2 times in the 6 months ive had the car does anyone no why this is happeneing

i get exactly the same thing on my 56 reg grande????
Duno what its about, it only has 2500 miles on the clock so its the the service thing.
It flashed at 2114, 2243, 2423?????/ strange stuff/

so what do we have to do to get the computer reset and does it cost anything ?

hello it is completely free but it is not so inocent it also afects consuption liters/miles!!!!
i made allready on time rest but it's not ok tomorrow i wiil do it again

Not correct,it actually sychronises the vehicles modules/nodes and doesn't reset any information in any of them.
