Well it's finally arrived and I'm picking it up in a couple of days. I suppose I've taken a bit of a chance not having been able to test drive a dualogic but my last car was an automatic and I got really used to it so I thought what the hell ! Don't even know what the gear stick looks like - anyone have any idea? Will try and post pics when I get it if anyone's interested.

the gearstick actually looks like a manual car, only instead of having the full movement of a manual you have three points.
Forward = N (neutral)
middle = D (drive, with tiptronic function)
back = R (reverse)
it is literally that simple. It pops itself in drive as soon as you start to pull the lever back. just remember one thing you have to have you foot on the brake to select D or R otherwise it just beeps at you like mad!!!! very annoying!:bang:
and also the lighter you are on the accelerator the smoother the auto change will be

No it doesnt look like that.
that is off the Panda not to Grande! it has the same movement but it doesnt actually look anything like that!

it is almost exactly the same as a normal gear lever, i know a lot of people dont realise that it is auto....

it is a good system, when you get used to it. at first you will probably wonder what's going on but keep with it and you'll love it!
