Picked it up today (pics)

Hi

It's been a long wait but today i collected my 1.416v sporting and it was worth the wait.
So far i've been very impressed with it...blue&me is cool....usb port is such a great idea....its drives nice... looks superb.
i'm really pleased...
The dealer done a great job also..it only turned up at the dealership 10.30am today and i collected it a 5pm.
The Dealer and the salesman really did pull out all the stops to get my car ready.
Thanks Wilson Purvis and Thanks Chris..

Cool Re: Picked it up today (pics)

Slightly OT, but on Top Gear when they revied the 207, they opened the glovebox to show some phono's to connect your iPod etc - Which means you have to control the songs from the player. The GP's USB connection means more control and better quality.

Really nice colour! And yes, alter your sig!

Mine came in today and I picked it up tonight. It's the 1.9 Mjet Sporting, here in red

Thanks to Westover for being brilliant today.

Re: Picked it up today (pics)

Looks great in red 2.
Don't know about you but its so hard to judge the distance when parking..front and back...maybe its just me being cautious. i spose i need to get used to it.
I really am impressed with it so far...drives well...holds the road great...engine feels tight but that will get better.
Just a great car.

Have fun

Parking it is a bit difficult cause the bonnet slopes away to such a degree you cant see it at all, so its harder to judge how close you are to something

That red one looks just like mine Very nice

Re: Picked it up today (pics)

It drives very nicely thanks Matt, I absolutely love it. It is tight I admit, but I'm used to cars loosening up nicely.

I'm particularly happy with the fit and finish, it appears very well put together - should have done as I blummin ordered it in May!

Length of car etc... well I used to have an Alfa 147, so I'm kinda used to "guessing"

Re: Picked it up today (pics)

Parkings getting easier...just don't scrape the wheels...not easy to refurb due to the finish.

That's why I love my plastic wheel caps.

Looks great Lee - same colour as mine but different wheels.
What the aircon like? Mines a bit poor and the dealer has checked it out twice
