Hi There,
I've come across a 56 Reg Punto for cheap that I've done some jobs to to make a quick buck.
Last job on it is the blower motor.
Noticed the wiring was rehashed and a mess plus the blower wasn't working.
I've fitted a new resistor pack and resistor plug, however I've found that the 2 pin connector that goes to the motor is completely missing.
I'm supposed to have 2 brown wires going into the resistor pack but instead I have two orange, the other colour match up with the new harness instructions.
I've probed the wires and one of the oranges (they're both thick guage so power wires) goes to the fan speed selector
It's my thought that the one that comes from the fan speed switch goes into the resistor pack at pin 4 and then I connect pin 5 to the fan motor and the spare orange I have is a negative that goes directly to the fan.
Can anyone shed some light onto the correct wiring colour making reference to the pins on the resistor pack would be helpful. I don't want to have to run a new loom when I've plenty of insulated connectors lying round.
Any help is much appreciated.
