HELLO . I need some help for my Fiat GP 1.2 8v 2006 the car wont start. i changed the line . key .body and the control unit it take me on a yellow lamp (block motor) and the starter dont go on. please help me .

Hi,

the immobilizer has mainly 5 components: Key with built-in transponder, receiver surrounding the ignition switch, aerial, body computer and engine control unit.

During start procedure, the ECU request unlocking code from NBC (body computer) which will send it back IF AND ONLY IF the receiver reads a valid code from the transponder (registered key)

If ALL components are coming from the same donnor, the system should work, assuming it was ok before transplant... if not it will NOT !

There is a procedure to register new keys, it uses the Examiner -but I guess FES/MES would do it as well- and the code that was originally assigned to the vehicle.

U haven't said WHY you replaced all that stuff ...

BRs, Bernie
